Southport
47500 Great Western brings an excursion into Southport (Chapel St) in May 1980. The Coal Concentration Depot is visible behind with a Derby DMU stabled in the carriage sidings. 47500 previously ran as un-named D1943 See image 40681 and continued in service with West Coast until January 2013 when it suffered fire damage at Salford and was stored at Carnforth.
