Southport
BRCW DMU and LMS Jinty 7298 sit at the buffer stops at Southport Chapel Street around 1979 on the occasion of a festival at the nearby Steamport preservation centre, hence the steam loco being in the station. Although it is Southport the DMU is one of the dedicated Manchester - Blackpool sets, evidenced by the white stripe, which denoted suspension modifications.
