Glencorse

The surviving crane pivot on the site of the old goods yard at Glencorse, an area now criss-crossed by pathways linking the local housing development with shops, schools etc in the neighbouring town of Penicuik. The street 'theme' here soon becomes apparent after passing Hawkins Terrace, Stevenson Road, Shaws Court, Red Fox Crescent, Trelawney etc..etc... alas no Admiral Benbow at which to partake of a tankard of warm grog and a bowl of crunchy nut cornflakes at the end of a brisk walk on this cold and frosty February morning, and... what's this? ... I seem to have developed a strange Black Spot on my..... AARRRRGGGGHH, JIM LAAAAAD!!!
