Glencorse
Immediately after leaving Glencorse station the line entered a tunnel under the A701 road before emerging onto the approach to the now demolished Glencorse Viaduct. The north portal of the old tunnel is seen here in September 2002 looking south, with the local primary school playground beyond the wire fence and the A701 running beyond the bridge parapet on the right.
