'Peak' no D192 brings the 09.30 Edinburgh Waverley - Carlisle into Hawick on 21 December 1968. (This train also carried through coaches for St Pancras). Meantime D5069 prepares to leave for the north with the 09.20 Carlisle - Edinburgh service.
