Carnforth

Looking at the locomotives stabled next to the station at Carnforth on 19 June 2010 you may think that DRS had opened a new depot, but the yard area around the former steam shed (latterly 10A in BR days) is still part of the West Coast Railway Company. Three Class 37 and four Class 20 locos are currently stored on the site in the shadow of the coal and ash towers.
