Carnforth

The second steam railtour of the day at Carnforth on 23 July 2011
was a rather delayed 'Lakelander' which had suffered a diesel failure en-route from Llandudno. At Carnforth ex LMS 8F 2-8-0 no 48151 took over for the run around Morecambe Bay and up the Cumbrian coast to Ravenglass. The loco change took place in the loops to the south of the station and the 8F is seen arriving at platform 2 where it was to pick up further passengers. (The wreath was in memory of Dave Jenner, Stations Manager on the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, who passed away in May)
