Newcastleton

A pair of B1 locomotives, with 61404 leading 61134, working north over the Waverley route on the southern approach to Newcastleton around 1964 with the 10.15 (SO) Ditton Junction (Halewood) - Bathgate Ford cars. The train is about to pass below the (now demolished) bridge carrying the B6357 over the line see image 29084, with Caerba Hill standing in the centre background.
