Ribble Steam Railway Museum

Lancaster Power Station's Barclay 0-4-0F 1950/1928 was originally built for Liverpool Corporation but worked at Lancaster from 1966 until the station closed in 1981 See image 27588. This fireless locomotive then shunted nuclear flask wagons at the Heysham Nuclear Power Stations site under the name Heysham No.2 until replaced by a battery electric loco, which was followed by a Sentinel diesel shunter 55295. It is now a cosmetically restored static exhibit in the RSR museum.
