Hawick [2nd]
A 'Festival of Britain' special, run for employees and their families by Peter Scott Knitwear (aka PESCO) stands at Hawick in 1951 behind Haymarket A3 Pacific no 60100 Spearmint, a locomotive associated for many years with 64B and driver Norman McKillop [Toram Beg]. (For some reason the special is standing on the wrong line for a southbound train.) On the reverse of the photograph is written Stationmaster Bell .
