Carleton Crossing
Between Blackpool and Poulton, just east of Layton station, is the block post signal box at Carleton, which also covers a very busy level crossing. The signals at Carleton Crossing are still semaphores, one of which can just be seen alongside 185129 working a Transpennine Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service.
