Inside the former trainshed at Richmond station many original features have been retained alongside the cafe, the shops and the micro brewery selling Richmond Station Ale. In 1938, LNER V2 2-6-2 4806 (later 60835) was named The Green Howard after the local regiment at a ceremony on this very spot.
