Richmond [Yorkshire]

The 1846 Tudor style station building at Richmond, North Yorkshire, photographed on 2 November 2004. The station was the terminus of the branch from Darlington, which left the ECML at Eryholme Junction and also served the garrison town of Catterick, the British Army's largest base. Closed to passengers in March 1968 the building stood empty at this time, having recently been occupied by a garden centre.
