Bog Siding (North British Railway)

Introduction

This branch was built north from Bog Siding Signal Box on the Macmerry Branch (North British Railway) to serve Fleets Colliery. The site was later served by an extension southwards of the Tranent Waggonway, after its southern portion was converted into a railway. The two mineral lines met south of the colliery.
