End cell phone use in train cabs [Times-Tribune]

The engineer of a commuter train traveling 80 miles an hour missed a red signal on Sept. 12, 2008, near Los Angeles, as he composed a text message on his cell phone. His train, carrying hundreds of passengers, collided with a freight train, the engineer of which was speaking on a cell phone.
