RAIL passengers will be able to travel from Edinburgh to London in four hours on a revived Flying Scotsman service from May, train operator East Coast has confirmed.

Deltic D9019, as yet unnamed, photographed passing through Carlisle on Saturday 25 April 1964. The locomotive is in charge of the late running 1A35 1000 Edinburgh - Kings Cross Flying Scotsman which has travelled via the Waverley route following a derailment on the ECML near Belford.
