Opened on the Tourist - Castles and big houses.

Description

A former hunting lodge rebuilt in 1877 and rebuilt in 1906 after a fire.

It became a hotel and is presently (2018) a nursing home. The lodge was one of the homes of Charles Addington Hanbury, died 1900, a member of the Hanbury brewing family associated with Truman's Brewery.
