Pinmore Summit (1877-)
Opened on the Girvan and Portpatrick Junction Railway.
This summit, of 394 ft, is at the northern portal of the Pinmore Tunnel. It is the end of a long climb south from Girvan station up the Glendoune Bank (and Glendoune Cutting).
Pinmore station was to the south of the Pinmore Tunnel.
