Newtowncunningham (1883-1940)

Opened on the Letterkenny Railway.


Description

This was a single platform station. The platform was on the east side of the line opposite a cattle dock on a siding approached from the north. To the east was a goods shed approached by a siding off the cattle dock siding which crossed the line to reach the shed. The station was to the west of Newtoncunningham itself.

It closed to passengers in 1940 and completely in 1953.
