Newmill Signal Box (1898-1905)

Opened on the Great North of Scotland Railway.

Description

This signal box was east of Keith Junction. It opened with the doubling of the line from Rothiemay in 1898.

It was located at what had been a level crossing, taken out and replaced with a girder road bridge crossing the line.

The box closed in 1905, replaced by a new signal box at Keith Junction.
