Invertote Mill (1887-1920)Served by the Lealt Valley Diatomite Railway.
Description
This diatomite mill was above the beach and Inver Tote Pier in the north of the Isle of Skye. It was rail served by the Lealt Valley Diatomite Railway which ran west to Loch Cuithir where the diatomite was extracted. The end of the railway was above and just to the west of the mill.
Dates given for the mill's operation vary.
