Ramsbottom: At the East Lancashire Railway 'Lancashire & Yorkshire Running Day' on 10th May 2025. 0-6-0ST 11456 and 0-6-0 52322 double-head the 09:15 Bury - Rawtenstall, leaving Ramsbottom on a warm morning.
Appleby: GB Railfreight class 66 no. 66798 'Justine' eases into Appleby on Tuesday 13th May 2025 working the 3Q99 1336 Carlisle Upperby Civil Engineers Sidings to Carlisle Upperby Civil Engineers Sidings Weedkiller service, running via Appleby and Maryport. Classmate 66739 'Bluebell Railway' was on the rear at this point and after a short break it had the responsibility of leading the train back to north to Carlisle, crossing over just outside the station, before heading down to Maryport.
Perth: 60163 'Tornado' leaving Perth for Edinburgh, with the 'Great Britain XVII' train from Inverness, on 2nd May 2025.
Ythan Viaduct: Looking south over the River Ythan and the old railway viaduct on 13th April 2025. The bridge is a short distance south of the site of Ellon station and the Formartine and Buchan Way crosses the river and continues southwards climbing towards Esslemont.
Ellon: Looking northwards through the site of Ellon station on 13th April 2025. On the right are the remains of the once large island platform, where a small development of apartments has recently been constructed. See image [[11529]], taken from a railtour passing this spot in 1974.

Newcastle Central: My train back to Edinburgh, 15:18 Lumo 1S95. Seats are lower than LNER and not to my liking, but at £12.30 Single on a Railcard I cannot really complain.
