Golders Green: Exterior of Golders Green station, now part of the much-extended LU Northern Line but originally opened on 22nd June 1907 as the terminus of the Charing Cross, Euston & Hampstead Railway, seen from a passing no. 210 bus at 15.11 on Sunday, 1st September 2024. The station forecourt is a terminus for several TfL bus routes while National Express Coaches from Victoria coach station to and from destinations in the north also serve here as an intermediate stopping point.

Ratho: A shot thought to date from 1973 of Ratho station looking east. The station closed to passengers on 18/06/1951 and at the far end of the various remaining buildings is the former signal box which, as far as I can ascertain, was downgraded to a ground frame in 1939. The train is an Edinburgh - Glasgow QS push/pull working with a class 27 locomotive at each end which were introduced to the route from 1971.

Kirkham and Wesham: The wires have been live for over six years now but I still do a double take when I see a Pendolino pass through Kirkham. This is 390121 'The Green Machine' on 9A84, the 1551hrs Blackpool North to Euston via Birmingham service, on 28th August 2024. The new Hitachi Class 807s being introduced are earmarked for the Blackpool North services and also some Liverpool and Birmingham turns.
