Mossley: A pair of TPE 185s are climbing through Mossley in the Tame Valley, towards Standedge Tunnel, with a Manchester Airport to Saltburn service on 6th March 2024. Mossley station is to be slightly relocated, probably into the space seen here, to allow an accessible footbridge to be installed as part of the electrification upgrade of the route.

Bay Horse: If we are allowed to think the unthinkable, 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgecumbe' could perhaps do with some smoke deflectors. Two crew of the right hand drive Castle 4-6-0 were on signal spotting as she headed from Tyseley to Carnforth, with water van and support coach on 15th March 2024. Scheduled to haul 'The Shap Mountaineer' the following day.

Brodie: ScotRail HST 43176 / 43137 approaches Brodie on a cold and hazy 9th March 2024 with 1H61, the 13.41 Aberdeen - Inverness.

Bay Horse: Must be a ship in. DBC 66067 passes through Forton cutting, with a fully loaded Seaforth Docks to Mossend intermodal service, on 12th March 2024

Ayr Station Hotel: Only the north gable and part of the east wall of the 'south range' are left for demolition. The Tower's fate seems undecided. Taken 16th March.
