Sheffield Station Sheffield Hallam University: South Yorkshire Supertram no. 112 to Halfway, decorated for an advertiser, pulling away from Sheffield Station, Sheffield Hallam University stop, at lunchtime on Thursday, 21st September 2023.
Callander [1st]: The forecourt of the original station at Callander was on the left in this view. The view looks east along Main Street. This terminus was sidestepped and replaced by a new through station when the line was extended by the Callander and Oban Railway.
Stow: 170412 and 170394 pass at Stow on 20 September 2023. View kooks south.
Lancaster: Very few trains stop on Lancaster's Carlisle Bridge and then reverse but 156466 had run here ECS from Blackpool Train Maintenance Depot on 1st October 2023 and then set back into a bay platform prior to taking up its roster of Morecambe branch shuttles for the day.
Roxburgh: Entrance to the old station house at Roxburgh, photographed looking west from the roadside in the summer of 2013. For a wide view of the station site see image [[4480]].
Ruskington: A view of the station at Ruskington in 2010.
Bishop Auckland: A former Tees-Tyne Pullman loco headboard seen mounted on the wall in the Morrisons supermarket at Bishop Auckland.
Waterloo Undergound: Waterloo Sunset sang The Kinks in 1967 and here is its sunset 56 years later on the evening of Saturday, 12th August 2023 with a view from the main line concourse towards the entrance/exit to the Underground station. All the required information Londoners and tourists need that they can catch the Bakerloo, Northern and Waterloo & City Lines here but no mention whatsoever that the Jubilee Line serves this station too. A deliberate mistake, perhaps?
Rumbling Bridge [2nd]: The south western approach to Rumbling Bridge is in this view, just a little distance from the overbridge which was at the south end of the station. The parapet of the now infilled bridge is distant in this view.
Shrubhill Tram Depot: Shrubhill Bus/Tram Depot, around 2000, before partial redevelopment.
Breich: An Edinburgh bound DMU heads past Breich on a sunny but cold morning in January 1981. In the background the white building to the left of the road bridge was the Breich Inns, now demolished as far as I know.
