Law Incline: A view of Barrack Road where the Law Incline crossed over the road. The line approached the road from the left (south) on a high embankment and climbed as it crossed over the road to continue uphill to the right. To the left the line was single track and to the right double track, providing a passing loop half way up the incline. So much landscaping, alteration of ground levels and subsequent construction makes it difficult to trace the line here today, except for the alignment of property boundaries. It passed through at number 14 on the left.
North Tawton: The former good shed at North Tawton, seen from a special working on the Okehampton line on 1 November 2015.
Hythe Pier: Spare loco of the Hythe Pier Railway, in a short siding at the depot, on 25th May 2014. Its sister, a very similar loco, was handling all services at this time. 2022 marked the centenary of their purchase, when they were just five years old, and they have formed the entire Pier Railway fleet since that time. In 2023 however the railway is under threat of closure due to declining passenger numbers.
Ealing Common: View from LUL S7 stock on a District Line train to Ealing Broadway, calling at its penultimate stop at Ealing Common on 5th September 2015. The lack of passengers proves that this is a VERY early morning service.
James Watt Dock: This 1992 view shows the division between the line up to [[Bogston]] station (left) and the dock sidings with the headshunt behind the camera. Gravity shunting was employed here in latter days.
Law Incline: View south from Barrack Street showing Parker Street in 1998. The buildings on the left follow the alignment of the Dundee and Newtyle Railway's Law Incline which was on an embankment. This portion of the incline was single track. Beyond, the line continued over Dudhope Crescent Road (now the dual A991) and through what is now the car park on the east side of Police Scotland to reach Dundee Ward Road.
Brighouse Basins: Brighouse upper basin, viewed across the lock that connects to the lower basin from where there is another lock into the River Calder.
