Sessay: A late afternoon GMT time grab shot of an unexpected northbound working of a Lumo Hitachi 803 (electric only) 5-car unit seen just north of the former Sessay station on 31st October 2021. I had just missed a southbound Lumo unit that had passed Thirsk at 16.01, when arriving for a freight working from Mossend Down Yard to Doncaster Down Decoy, but this working was not shown on Realtime Trains.

Rutherglen: The north to west platforms at Rutherglen, photographed on the weekend of closure to passenger traffic of the Central Low Level line in 1964. Both these and the north to east platforms were closed, leaving only the island platform on the main slow lines open. [This image had been reversed. If you see the signal backwards on the left hand side it is because web caches have yet to clear. -RS]

Dalwhinnie: Lost Railfreight 37113 runs round an Inverness-bound mixed freight at Dalwhinnie in 1990. It had spent the night there due to a loco failure and 37113 had drawn it out of the sidings. #COP26

Wilton Parade [Tram]: Viewed from the North Pier, a Blackpool Flexity tram makes its way between the stops at Wilton Parade and North Pier on 2nd November 2021. The new sea defences here, part of a huge project on the Lancashire coast from Lytham to Fleetwood, are very impressive from the seaward side.
