Sousse [Tunisia]: The metre gauge Express DMU heads along the streets of Sousse to the station and then on to Tunis. The junction leading off to the right possibly went to the harbour; in any case it seems to have been disused even by 1983. The whole of the on-street section of the mainline was removed when the railways in that area were converted to the Sahel Metro. The mainline was diverted to the west of the city. For a view looking the other way see image [[72391]].

Kirkham and Wesham: This Preston and Wyre Railway boundary post between Kirkham and Salwick has survived the electrification rebuild of the bridge behind, and the recent installation of palisade fencing. Probably dating from the 1840 opening of the line this is a remarkable artefact.
Inverkeithing East Junction: Line closure due to major track renewal work at Inverkeithing Central Junction in July 2007 (see image [[15999]]) resulted in train services operating on a true circular route around Fife over a period of several days. Here an inner circle service is approaching the camera along the single line curve between Inverkeithing North and East Junctions on its way from Rosyth to Dalgety Bay.
Elgin East: Exterior of the disused Elgin East station, opened in 1852, closed in 1968, on 15th June 2019. The main building is now in use as offices.
