West Ham (High Level): 357040, with an evening peak hours C2C service from Fenchurch Street to Laindon, Essex, calling at West Ham on 15th September 2016. The train will head away from the camera when it departs. On the left is the island platform served by LUL District and Hammersmith & City Line trains. The low level platforms for DLR and LUL Jubilee Line trains are at right angles below.
Gort: Stored brake vans in Gort goods yard in 1988.
Cumbernauld: Restored A4 Pacific 4498 'Sir Nigel Gresley', in LNER Garter blue livery, is seen just north of Cumbernauld on a Glasgow - Aberdeen excursion organised by the A4 Locomotive Society on 20th May 1967.
Woodacre Crossing: Occasionally there seems to be a mismatch of Caledonian Sleeper traction and a daylight movement ensues. 92023 heads light engine from Polmadie to Wembley on 12th November 2020 passing Woodacre.
Wintringham: Here is a view of the engine shed and distillery - see image [[60573]]. Rather ironic that we drove an electric car to ride on a petrol-powered train.
Ballater: The recreated royal carriage, alongside the platform at Ballater in October 2012.
Culloden Viaduct: With track renewal taking place at Newlands of Culloden in November 2020, GBRf liveried 66701 waits on the south side of Culloden Viaduct with a ballast train with another immediately behind.
Galashiels: View south along the A7 Ladhope Vale showing Galashiels station and Interchange building, together with the pedestrian crossing linking the two. The bridge carrying Station Brae over the formation can be seen in the background. Photograph taken in October 2015, a month after the line had reopened to passengers.
Ness Viaduct: This is Ness Viaduct, Inverness on 9th February 1989, just after it was washed away.
Milngavie: 314214 at the Milngavie terminus in 1987.
