Castlerock: Busy scene at Castlerock station, Northern Ireland, with passengers boarding and alighting from Translink N.I. Railways broad gauge diesel unit no. 3002 calling with a service from Londonderry to Belfast Great Victoria Street, on 2nd August 2018.

Ness Viaduct: The sad sight of the remains of Ness Viaduct on 9th February 1989, just after it was washed away.

Aberdeen: 46252 City of Leicester arriving at Aberdeen on 19 April 1954 with a train from Glasgow.

Beauly: A Class 73 on the Far North Line. 73968 is being used by GBRf as a driver route learner from Inverness to Georgemas Junction, in preparation for engineering work. Pictured approaching Beauly on the return working on 12th November 2020.

Carron Water Bridge [West Carmont]: An LNER Azuma from Leeds running through the reopened Carmont derailment site on 3rd November 2020.

Coalburn: Coalburn Station in July 1967, approximately 21 months after final closure on 4th October 1965. No level crossing gates, no signal box, no track and, eventually, no station.

Tara Street: Tara Street station, Dublin, seen from DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train to Howth calling at the opposite platform, on the wet Sunday afternoon of 19th June 2016. The train will cross the river Liffey on departing and continue on viaduct to Dublin Connolly and then on through the north Dublin suburbs.

Kinbuck: Black 5 44925 climbing towards Kinbuck with the 4.25pm Glasgow Buchanan Street to Inverness service on 15th April 1965. In the background is the chimney of the Ashfield Mill.

Kintore: The Caledonian Sleeper was on diverted on 14th November 2020 due to track works between Perth and Inverness. 73966 and 73970 race through the new station at Kintore.

Rainford: A Manchester to Kirkby service slows for the penultimate stop at Rainford (formerly Rainford Junction) on 14th August 2020. The train comprises Sprinter 150113 and reinstated Pacer 142087.

Winwick Junction: Arriva Trains Wales 175006 passes the site of Winwick Quay Sidings on 9 August 2011 while working a Manchester to Chester service. The sidings used to be to the right of the WCML with Winwick Quay (on the St Helens canal) behind the trees on the left. The M62 motorway crosses the railway in the background.

Seaton Carew: DRS 68006 leads sister 68001 north with a flask wagon in tow through Seaton Carew station, shortly after leaving the Seaton on Tees Power Station branch line at Seaton Snook Junction, with the return early afternoon working to Sellafield on 23 October 2020.
