Helpston: 158774, forming a Liverpool to Norwich service, heads from Grantham towards Peterborough at Helpston level crossing on 2nd August 2019. The Melton Mowbray lines are in the foreground at this six track location.

Didcot Railway Centre: GWR Collett King 4-6-0 6023 'King Edward II', and Churchward 2-6-0 5322, in the yard at Didcot on 29th August 2020. The unique arrangement of the King front bogie is clearly shown in this close up.

Banff Bridge: The steep road approach to the former station at Banff Bridge seen from the west in September 2012. The station was the penultimate stop on the Macduff branch, with the coastal terminus itself situated less than half a mile away to the left. Carron Water Bridge [East Croft of Carmont]: A September 2020 view of the recently completed works at the bridge over the Carron Water. I was actually expecting to see both sides of the bridge protected from river erosion but this is the finished wall.

Princes Street Gardens Cutting: V2 2-6-2 60919 brings the Summer Saturday 9.10am Dundee to Blackpool through Princes St Gardens on 25th June 1966.

Nickstream Siding: On the south west side of West Auckland Road heading out of Darlington there is an extant skew bridge abutment from the rail overbridge for the Darlington to Barnard Castle line. The opposing abutment has been demolished with a new service road entrance built just north, where the view was taken from. This bridge is a short distance south of the former [[Faverdale Wagon Works]], most of which is now mainly demolished and the remainder being used as distribution / works units.
