Kensington Olympia: LMS Stanier Black 5 no. 44932 arriving at Kensington (Olympia) with Steam Dreams 'The Cathedrals Express', from Ashford International to Winchester, on 8th April 2014. Built at Horwich Works, it entered service in 1945 and was withdrawn in August 1968 and immediately sold for preservation.

Upholland: A pair of Sprinters, working from Kirkby to Manchester Victoria, call at Upholland on 14th August 2020. Upholland station serves the West Lancashire township that is now named Up Holland, although it is actually in the settlement of Pimbo.

Kinning Park [Subway]: View of Kinning Park Subway station looking south west in May 2007. Photographed on a Sunday morning through part of the pedestrian footbridge which spans the M8 Motorway at this point, linking Cornwall Street (from where the picture was taken) and Cornwall Street South.

Alyth Junction: A tall lattice post and former bridge. There are two former railways in this 1996 view. From left to right is the former Strathmore main line. Flying over this was the line from Newtyle Junction. Both lines ran to Alyth Junction, off to the left.

Wolsingham: In the centre of the main part of Wolsingham Station, platform side, there is a canopied recess, by the exit from what was possibly the former ticket office, complete with clock. There is also a door at each end leading into the main part of the building. The building also has some feature stones at high level, one a date stone and the other a crest.

Blackford: The 12.43 from Glasgow Queen Street to Dundee, powered by 43012 and 43146, passes the Highland Spring terminal at Blackford on 27th September 2020. No sidings laid yet.

Kapellskär: The Finnish Viking Line ferry MS Mariella passes close to the international ferry port of Kappelskär near Norrtälje in the Stockholm archipelago. Having left from the Stadsgården Terminal close to central Stockholm she plied to and from Helsinki and Tallin via Åland. From delivery in 1985 to 1989 she held the world record for being the largest cruise ferry carrying 2500 passengers.
