Baltimore: Baltimore Station on 22nd March 2020. The engine shed also survives as business premises. The main line back to Skibbereen and Cork ran to the right of the shed. The railway closed on 1st April 1961.
Brock: Tranquil scene on the Lancaster Canal, between Garstang and Brock, as West Coast Brush 4s 47804 and 47802 run alongside taking a rake of ECS south from Carnforth to Bristol on 29th August 2020. These coaches were to be used on a steam special the following day.
Pages Park: 'Beaudesert' is a diesel named after a local school and built to LBNGR specifications. It has a rather functional appearance.
Alresford (Hampshire): Former Southern 2-6-0 undergoing restoration at Alresford on the Mid Hants Railway in June 1976.
Lingerwood Road Level Crossing: View west along Lingerwood Road towards the junction with Main Street, Newtongrange on 20 August 2020, showing some of the houses built by the Lothian Coal Company. The level crossing ran between what are now metal gates on the right and the entrance to the public footpath on the left. The path follows the route of the trackbed as far as the bridge that once carried the line across the A7 into the Lady Victoria site ([[71372]]).
Dumbarton Central: General view of Dumbarton Central looking east in April 1957. The line on the far right dropped down to the [[Leven Engine Works]].
Harome Siding: A moderate distance north of Harome Sidings there were two bridges in close proximity to each other, one a narrow humped farm access road overbridge and the next an accommodation/ footpath rail overbridge. The humped bridge has been demolished as it was unsuitable to larger farm equipment, but the other bridge is still fully extant. View is looking south across bridge HMY8, towards location of demolished bridge HMY7 and beyond Harome Siding.
Dunfermline Queen Margaret: Exotic stock (for West Fife) attracts the attention of customers awaiting an Edinburgh service at Queen Margaret on 27 August 2020. The CrossCountry Class 220 was running ECS from Edinburgh to Dundee, presumably going this way to avoid the busier direct line. This caption required a rare visit to RTT so I am feeling particularly nerdy.
Pollokshaws West Goods: Standard 9F 2-10-0 92249 heads a fitted freight through Pollokshaws West on 2nd July 1966.
