710264, London Overground Euston to Watford Junction, departing from its penultimate stop at Watford High Street at 12.59 on Saturday, 31st May 2025. A visit to a friend's Amateur Dramatics Group's latest production for a matinee performance (which was excellent) at a theatre in Watford had brought me here on this afternoon, the hottest day of the year so far at 26C (80F) but superseded by the hideous 34C (96F) heatwave the London area has been experiencing for several days, a month later.
