Watford High Street
A class 313 EMU on a driver training run rounds the down curve towards Watford High Street station on 4th April 1985. It will shortly pass High Street junction (for the Croxley Green branch). The elderly 501 DC EMU stock then working the line was due to be replaced from May 1985 by the 313s, but poor availability of the latter delayed the transition for a while. In turn, 313 units reached the end of their innings in 2023.
