Chester Northgate

Chester Northgate in April 1969. By this time the only service was to Manchester Central, trains to New Brighton and Wrexham having been withdrawn in September 1968. The station closed in October 1969 when the Manchester workings were diverted to Chester General following the installation of a connection at Mickle Trafford between the two lines.
