Mormond Halt
Many sections of the Formartine and Buchan Way are well surfaced, including some that have tarmac. On the remote moorland section between Strichen and Lonmay it is a different story and after a rain shower there was a lot of pooling. Viewed from a surviving minor overbridge, an intrepid cyclist splashes down the hill, from Mormond station towards Strichen on 15th April 2025.
