New Brighton
777043 just arrived at the Merseyrail Wirral Line terminus at New Brighton at 18.44 on Monday, 28th April 2025 before returning to Liverpool Central at 18.52. This station opened in 1888 with the line electrified by the LMSR in 1938 when the platform buildings were rebuilt but the main entrance building remains unscathed. The station once had a goods yard which closed in 1965.
