Ellon
Looking northwards on the old Fraserburgh line, from the end of the island platform, in April 2025. A large council depot was constructed on the formation of the goods yard and Boddam branch lines while freight services were still running on the lines to Fraserburgh and Peterhead. To the left (off picture) at this point the boundary fence widens as there was a turntable but the area is now overgrown. See image 21842 for a similar view in 1963.
