Kirkham and Wesham
The wires have been live for over six years now but I still do a double take when I see a Pendolino pass through Kirkham. This is 390121 'The Green Machine' on 9A84, the 1551hrs Blackpool North to Euston via Birmingham service, on 28th August 2024. The new Hitachi Class 807s being introduced are earmarked for the Blackpool North services and also some Liverpool and Birmingham turns.
