Kirkham and Wesham
Northern 156464 on a Blackpool North to Manchester Victoria service heads east towards Kirkham on 27 July. In the left background is the hazy outline of Blackpool Tower, which overlooks the site of the former Blackpool Central station. The direct line to Central was on the left here and ran through the hillside in front of the tower in a cutting. In the undergrowth on the left rails from the former engineers tip still survive.
