St Pancras International

Class 390 Javelin unit just emerged from tunnel with a train on HS 1 and crossing the bridge over York Way as it approaches St. Pancras International, at 14.17 on Tuesday, 20th August 2024. About to pass underneath, heading north, is "New Routemaster" LT 566 a few minutes into its diverted journey on route 259 from King's Cross to Edmonton Green. These buses, only introduced in 2012, are now all expected to be withdrawn by the end of the 2020s. Seen from front upstairs windows of EHV type on diverted route 91 to Crouch End that was following behind. It was a sheer fluke the train appeared on the bridge at the same time as the bus I was on was about to pass underneath.
