Kelty

View north at the site of Kelty station in 2023 from the location of the former island platform. The station, never convenient for the village, closed to passengers in 1930. The tram route, actually entering Kelty, was extended from Cowdenbeath in 1910. The railway closed to passengers and as a through route in 1970, before being cut back to Kelty from the north later that year. Kelty Coup (tip) survived until 1972. Today northing remains here of the station, just a field, other than 'Station Road' and a railway cottage.
