Wrexham General

Wrexham General, a splendid looking station, is the last in the UK to still use the suffix 'General', which distinguishes it from nearby Wrexham Central, terminus of the Borderlands Line. 158823 slows to call with a Holyhead to Cardiff service on 4th October 2023. This was an ASLEF strike day but Merseyrail and TfW were operating a near normal service.
