Kirkham and Wesham
The Vintage Trains 'Blackpool Illuminations Explorer' hurries through Kirkham & Wesham behind Loram Rail's 37418 'An Commun Gaidhealach' on 11th November 2023. The usual duty for this loco is propelling the Inspection Saloon 'Caroline'. Engine crews who daily queued to get into Blackpool Central and Talbot Road stations with their excursions would be astonished to know that the resort now receives only perhaps three or four such trains in a whole year.
