Plains
Plains signal box. The line from Bathgate to Airdrie was retained for freight traffic as a double track line until 1979 when it was singled, from which time Plains SB remained in situ as a gate box. It closed in 1982 when the line closed between Bathgate and a point west of Plains (Moffat Mills Junction).
