Entwistle
37401 'Mary Queen of Scots' and 37425 'Concrete Bob' head 1Z62 08:49 Derby to Ribblehead (Virtual Quarry) 'The Garsdale Growler' on 27th August 2023. Less than perfect conditions but for once thank goodness the sun didn't shine! Locomotive hauled trains are very rare on the Bolton to Blackburn line and the 37s were working hard on the 1 in 70 gradient towards the summit at Sough tunnel.
