Entwistle
Having made a request stop at lonely Entwistle 150268, on a Clitheroe to Manchester Victoria service, accelerates away on the falling gradient towards Bromley Cross where double track resumes. The 737' summit of the line is at Sough Tunnel. The marker board to the left warns of the level crossing at the closed station of Turton and Edgeworth.
