Meldon Junction

For once, the wooden artwork is useful - you can sit on it - and representative of past glories, in that the diverging benches represent the former diverging railways. This location is on the Granite Way; the nearest car park for walkers or cyclists is at Meldon Reservoir. The path on the left leads to Lydford, but restoration of the track on the right to Halwill Junction would be complicated by the need for a substantial bridge over the A30.
