Meldon Junction

Devon panorama: Meldon Junction is 200 miles by the Withered Arm from London Waterloo (there was a milepost to the right of the trackbed). A stone accommodation bridge can be seen in the background, to the right of Meldon Quarry; which once supplied three quarters of British Rail's ballast. Some wind turbines can be seen on the left; these are located just outside Barnstaple.
